Antarkamala Music Academy
Nurturing the Legacy of Indian Classical Music
The Mission :
Antarkamala Music Academy is a music school dedicated to preserving, promoting, and teaching the rich heritage of Indian classical music. Established with the firm belief that music is an integral part of India’s cultural identity, the Vidyalaya serves as a platform to nurture talent, provide high-quality music education, and create opportunities for both students and emerging artists in the world of classical music.
The school offers comprehensive training in traditional Indian classical music forms, focusing on vocal music, harmonium, and tabla. Adhering to the traditional approach to music education, Sanatana Sangeeta Vidyalaya emphasizes a holistic learning experience that incorporates three core methods: learning by doing, learning by accompanying, and learning by listening. This well-rounded approach not only fosters technical proficiency but also nurtures a deep emotional and spiritual connection with the music. By engaging students in all three methods, the Vidyalaya ensures a profound understanding of musical theory, ragas, taals, and improvisation.
The Vision :
While originally founded by the revered Pt. Kamalakar Bhat in Siris, the institution has been revitalized by Sri. Kiran Bhat, a representative of the Agra Gharana tradition. Though the Vidyalaya officially commenced its operations in early 2025, it continues to honor the vision of Pt. Kamalakar Bhat by inviting various distinguished teachers to guide students in both the theory and technical aspects of vocal and instrumental music.
In addition to its educational offerings, the Vidyalaya is committed to providing platforms for its students and artists through events like Baitak (intimate music sessions) and larger music festivals.
The Commitment :
With its unwavering commitment to both education and performance, Antarkamala Music Academy plays a key role in the cultural enrichment of society. By preserving the legacy of Indian classical music, the Vidyalaya ensures that this invaluable art form remains vibrant, accessible, and deeply cherished by future generations.

The Guru :
Guru Sri Kiran Bhat has learnt music from his childhood days and has started teaching to the junior students at the age of 18. Later he worked as teacher in Adarsha Vanita Samaja during his graduation days and started teaching senior students on Khayal Gayaki.
Having travelled across the globe, participating in various musical events across India Sri Kiran Bhat gives holistic view of the music to students during his class hours.
With a rich background in both corporate management and music, Mr. Bhat brings a unique approach to personal and professional development. His classes and demonstrations explore how performing arts can enhance leadership skills, offering participants a fresh perspective on managing teams, making decisions, fostering creativity and helps releasing stress.
